    Full title reads: "MASS DEMOLITION - Old wooden bridge in Sunderland makes way for new structure." Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Pan along wooden Gill Footbridge which for almost a century was a shortcut from Sunderland to Ayres Quay. Bridge has to be demolished. Men sowing the supports through. Ropes connect the bridge and train engine. Train engine moves and the bridge goes down.
