Various shots of the lifeboat being dragged from its boat house and up onto the road. The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) Cullercoats lifeboat is being pulled through the streets to raise money for its up keep. Men, women and children are all pulling on the ropes. Crowds of people are watching. Shots of women (fish wives) holding charity collecting tins shaped like lifeboats.
