Covers the establishment of the aerodrome - the first Royal Flying Corps station in the region, built in response to the air raids targeting industry in the North East which began in 1915. After WW1 the Newcastle Aero Club was established in 1925, but relocated to the new airfield at Woolsington in 1935... -
