    I interviewed my mum on this photo 1- do you know who George Stephenson is? 2- do you know what he's famous for? 3- do you know why he made the rocket? 4- do you know what year he lived in? 5- do you know where are you last lived? 6- do you know any info about him? 7- do you have any extra info? Answers 1- yes George Stephenson was behind the invention of the first steam locomotive. 2- he was famous for inventing the rocket. 3- it was built for a race from Newcastle to Darlington Reaching A top speed of 44 mph some people though this was to dangerous. 4- George Stephenson was born in Wylam 9/6/1781. 5- The last place he lived was dial cottage. 6- Who was that only child and his dad was a coal miner. 7- he had a son called Robert . George himself died in 1848 from pleurisy.
