Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A photograph of the Nursery Cottage Scotswood Road c. 1895. This was the first Temperance Hotel and the photograph was taken after alterations had been made in 1893. The photograph shows the frontage of the hotel. To the right is a water fountain built into the wall. The name plate on the wall of the hotel gives the dates '1873' and '1893'.
