Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A view of Two Ball Lonnen Fenham taken c.1905. The photograph shows the entrance to Two Ball Lonnen. The Lonnen took its name from the two ball finials on top of the gate posts. The lodge of Fenham Hall can be seen on the right-hand side of the entrance. A man is riding down Two Ball Lonnen on a bicycle. Collection : Local Studies Source of Information : The ball finials were removed to Whitfield Hall near Allendale the home of the Blackett-Ord family.
