In the foreground to the left a building has been demolished and the site is covered in rubble. A row of houses is next to the derelict site. The gable end of the nearest house is covered in advertising posters which are beginning to peel off. The Home for Destitute Boys is on the right-hand side of Pandon Bank surrounded by a wall.
