    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A tram heads up Scotswood Road past terraced houses on its route from Scotswood Bridge to Central and finally to Heaton. (Further information on the trams- the Scotswood Bridge terminus was opened in April 1906. The tracks were extended to Lemington in 1913. The tram in the picture is C class no.80 built 1902 modernised 1932 sold to Gateshead in 1948. Information from Noel Hanson).
