Type : Lantern Slide Description : A studio portrait of a Cullercoats Fishwife taken in 1898. The woman is wearing her working dress which includes a simple bedgown or jacket an ankle length skirt with a tucked hemline and an apron. She has a silk square at the neckline of her dress and is wearing a bonnet with the ribbons hanging down at the front.
