    Type : Lantern Slide Description : A view of the interior of St. Mary's R.C. Cathedral Clayton Street Newcastle upon Tyne taken pre 1894. The photograph is looking down the nave towards the high altar. Behind the altar is the Great East window which illustrates the 'Tree of Jesse' the genealogy of Jesus from St. Matthew's Gospel.
