Type : Lantern Slide Description : A view of St. John's Church Grainger Street Newcastle upon Tyne taken C.1925. The photograph is looking down the nave towards the altar. The carved wooden rood screen can be seen in front of the Chancel with the altar beyond. The organ pipes can be seen to the left of the rood screen and a chapel can be seen to the right. There are two stained glass windows behind the Chancel and the chapel.
