The photograph shows the interior of one of the houses in the Summerhill Terrace area. In the foreground is the staircase. A sink and a cooker are at the bottom of the stairs. A piece of material is hung across the bottom of the large internal window above the sink and cooker. On the wall to the left there is a row of coat hooks. To the right of the cooker is the entrance to the toilet which does not appear to have a door.
