My mam used to go to South Shields beach when she was a kid. How old were you when you started going and when did you stop going? I started going when I was four and I stopped going when I was about 12 because we moved to Durham. What did you do there? I used to build sandcastles, look for crabs in the rock pools and collect shells. Did you enjoy going and why? I loved going because I loved spending time with the family and we used to get ice cream after we had been to the beach. Who did you go with? I went with my mam and dad and my 2 sisters and sometimes bring a few friends along with me. My mam and dad used to go there when they were young aswell
