There are cars travelling along the road in front of the Playhouse. Jesmond Dene and the crenellated tower of a building can be seen in the background.The Playhouse was demolished in 1970 due to road improvements.Theatres Collection : Local Studies Source of Information : The theatre in the photograph is identified as the 'Playhouse Jesmond'.
