    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A view of Dean Street Newcastle upon Tyne taken in 1894. The view shows repairs being carried out to the railway arch which spans Dean Street. There is wooden scaffolding on the underside of the arch. In the background can be seen the premises of Jos. C. Nicholson Engineers who had premises at no. 59 the Side. Collection : Local Studies Source of Information : Jos.C.
