    Type : Lantern Slide Description : A view of Holmside Place Heaton taken in 1911. The photograph is looking up Holmside Place which is a pedestrianised street with houses on both sides. The houses have leafy front gardens surrounded by low walls with iron railings on top. Four iron bollards have been placed at each end of the street to keep out vehicles. There are two lamp posts in the centre of the street. Collection : Local Studies Source of Information : +Duplicate. A large crack on the glass plate will be visible on any print made.
