Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A view of St. George's Church Osborne Road Jesmond taken c.1888. The photograph is looking towards the baptistry which contains the baptismal font which is made of onyx alabaster and marble. There are four stained glass windows behind the font. Above the baptistry there is stone tracery with a bronze statue of St. George and the dragon in the centre.
