    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A 1907 view of Scotswood Bridge Newcastle upon Tyne. The bridge opened in 1831 and was a suspension or 'chain' bridge. The photograph has been taken on Scotswood Bridge looking towards the Gateshead side of the river.
