    Description : SS Lime Branch cargo steamer. SS Lime Branch was one of the many Doxford-built Turret Ships noted for their large cargo carrying capacity. It was launched in 1902 and built for the "Nautilus Steam Shipping Co Ltd" of Sunderland. She left Newcastle in 1902 for San Francisco with a record at that time of 7,936 tons of Wallsend Coal.
