    "Since the last photo of this milestone http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6102084 east of the entrance to Huland Quarry on the A66 was taken, most of the paint and painted legend has been washed off by Pennine rain. However the ¼s in the mileages to Greta Bridge and Bowes are now indistinct." Photo by Hilary Jones, 2022.
