Description
Hob Uid: 37414 Excavation uncovered two Roman rectangular kilns of Hadrianic - Antonine date, primarily used for tile production, but could have been used for oxidised pottery.....The site consists of a small area of heavily overgrown, amorphous hollows with much scattered stone and burnt tile fragments. A M. of W. signboard, at SD 13139861, appears to be placed central to the kilns..... -
