Former railway bridge, Glasson
-
Description
"Entering Glasson traffic crosses this awkwardly-angled bridge which once crossed the short-lived branch line to Port Carlisle. There was a station here but services were withdrawn as early as 1931. The house beyond is named 'The Old Lock Keeper's Cottage' which is a reminder that the railway replaced an earlier canal." Photo by Stephen McKay, 2014. -
