Wall Mile 66

  • Description

The marker stone, set up to indicate the position of Hadrian's Wall on Cavendish Terrace, Stanwix. It is located on the edge of the wooded slope above the flood plain of the Eden. Completely covered with ivy when I eventually found it, here it is in all its glory once more. Looking SE Handbook p.346
