    "Carved stone post by the B6318, in parish of Wall (Tynedale District), 420m East of St Oswald's Hill Head Farm, in verge against wall, on South side of road. Military Road number tombstone, erected by the Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- 19 (To Newcastle) Grade II listed.
