  • Description

"The wall to the left encloses a copse on the site of Milecastle 34 on Hadrian's Wall. Flagstones have been laid to preserve the surface of the Hadrians Wall National Trail which runs 135 km from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend. http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/hadrianswall/ To the right is the ditch which flanked Hadrian's Wall to the north."
