  • Description

    Wall ditch east of Hill Head Farm. This view shows a standard sprung gate just east of St Oswald's, near Heavenfield. The path can be seen along the berm between the curtain wall (which is under the road, to the right) and the ditch (which at this point is full of gorse bushes). Looking E Handbook p.187.
