Wall Mile 71

  • Description

Looking towards the measured location of Turret 71A, the line of the Trail can be made out by the slightly flattened grass to the left; the curtain wall runs from just to the right of the point of view to the hedgeline just left of centre; and the damp-loving juncus grass in the slight hollow, if Maclauchlan is to be believed, marks the location of a filled-in pond and was rather whimsically known as 'Speer-garth-holes'.
