    Market cross and stone benches on site of earlier cross. 1869-70 (Walton). Limestone. 4-step platform and 3-step base to chamfered, square column surmounted by plain cross. 2 stone benches set as quadrants within pebble pavement on east side. The benches have slab pillars and tilted tops and were used for the sale of fish at public market.....
