Portrait view of The Midland Railway screw ship 'Londonderry' pictured in the graving dock at the north end of Devonshire dock, probably to clean and paint its bottom. The shoring Timbers are in place and the dock is empty of water. This ship was launched in 1904, served as a troopship during the first world and was in use until 1937.
