Henry Schneider, Barrow-in-Furness

    Henry William Schneider (1817 – 1887) was a British industrialist and politician who played a leading role in the development of Barrow-in-Furness. His statute, erected in 1891 (Grade II listed), stands in Schneider Square near to the magnificent Town Hall.
