Bastle house, late C16 or early C17, remodelled C19. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Central door in modern porch, late Cl9 sash windows. Right return has original chamfered ground-floor door, with monolithic flat-pointed head and drawbar tunnel in right jamb, now blocked. Ruined building adjacent is probably a second, slightly later bastle..... -
