Twin lime kilns
-
Description
"Fraternal, rather than identical, twins. The eastern kiln is heavily buttressed while the western one has unusual (in my limited experience) brick drawing arches. Each kiln has three drawing arches and, judging by the surrounding landscape, they were well used. See also [[6761387]] and [[6761401]]. Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1051083" Photo by Leanmeanmo, 2021. -
