Medieval wayside cross, 200m NNW of Brownrigg - Rochester with Byrness - List Entry

    The medieval cross base 200m NNW of Brownrigg survives well in its original position alongside a medieval routeway; the importance of the monument is enhanced by the survival of at least two further crosses thought to lie along the same medieval routeway.....it may be associated with three other wayside crosses known as The Golden Pots and likewise situated beside Dere Street....
