    "Carved stone post by the A68, in parish of Rochester (Tynedale District), Bennetsfield Farm, near junction to Otterburn Camp, on the verge, banking away from road, on North East side of road. Newcastle quadrant stone, erected by the Elsdon & Rudwater turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : Newcastle / 33 / Miles : : Jedbro / 23 / Miles : Grade II listed.
