    Wood cabin. Built c.1891 as part of the shanty town called 'Newcastle' to house workers building the Catcleugh Reservoir for the Newcastle and Gateshead Water Company. Wood boarding with corrugated-iron roof and snecked stone chimneys. Single storey, 4 bays. Small gabled porch in second bay.with boarded door on right return. Three 12-pane Yorkshire sashes. Gabled roof with banded ridge stacks....
