The old bridge at Ebchester
-
Description
"This old stone bridge crosses the River Derwent at the same point as the Roman Bridge. It was built in 1862, and made redundant by a new concrete bridge in 1973. The road was diverted onto the new bridge, but the old one is still open to pedestrians." Photo by Robert Graham, 2021. -
