Old track above site of Bells Chapel

  • Description

"An old track, showing only as a hollow-way, mounts the slope above Bells Burn amid ruined the boundaries and plough-marks of small former fields, just below a partial wall and fence which now marks the England-Scotland Border. The location of Bells Chapel, not always located on the English side, lies in the flat, weedy grassland closer to the burn." Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2014.
