    Board schools. Named and dated 1877 in plaque in right end bay. Snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings, plinth and quoins; Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and decorative ridge tiles; inserted ridge ventilators. Gothic style. Symmetrical. One storey, 9 bays, the end bays gabled and the central with half-hipped gable to front; lower porches in second bays from ends overlap end bays slightly. Left porch has 2-centred arch with dripmould over boarded door with elaborate hinges; ribbon with low-relief BOYS and GIRLS over door; right porch has blocked door with INFANTS in ribbon; end bays contain large 2- centred-arched dripmoulds......
