Description
Large house; c1658 (date, with initials R.C., on lintel re-used in barn) for Robert and Isabel Copley. Altered/extended c1673 (date over fireplace). Partly demolished with remainder remodelled at later date. Wet-dashed rubble. Graduated slate roofs with stone ridges. Originally U-shaped plan, west wing since demolished. 2 storeys with attic. East elevation is mostly intact: 3 bays with central gabled porch; glazed inner door in chamfered surround.....
