    Northern Echo, 25th June 2012. "Ferryhill Baptist Church, in the town’s Dean Bank area, will hold its final Sunday service this weekend before a farewell event next month..... Without a minister for more than two years, services have been led by guest speakers from other churches and sometimes members themselves. When it celebrated its centenary in 2008 the congregation was around 22-strong, now as few as four people attend weekly worship.....
