Commonwealth War graves, Carlisle Cemetery
-
Description
"The information panel was installed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which maintains the graves of men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars (see https://www.cwgc.org/find-a-cemetery/cemetery/2078115/carlisle-(dalston-road)-cemetery/ ). It says that in this cemetery there are 134 graves from WW1 and 141 from WW2. About half of them are in designated plots, the rest are dispersed around the cemetery grounds."
