    1846, altered 1903.One storey schoolroom.Rubble with squared rubble plinth. Slate roof.Two chimneys.Three windows with chamfered stone surrounds and moulded labels.Casements.Over central window stone panel with raised lettering,brought from previous building on Mill Brow:"HEN: WILSON FUNDATOR ANO DM0 1628".Gable ends with large boards.Under right hand gable panel with raised lettering,C19, "FREE GRAMMAR SCHOOL".Girls' and Boys' Entrances at gable ends,embattled, added 1903 (date on Girls' Entrance)....
