Description
C17 or early C18, altered C19. Two and a half storeys. Rendered. Slate roof. Two chimneys. Wooden eaves cornice. Two windows with plain surrounds, all coupled. Those to the ground floor sashed, to first floor sashed with all glazing bars. Continuous dormer with three groups of three lights. Doorway with fluted pilasters and entablature, on which is an oval cartouche apparently dated 1830 but painted over. Door of nine raised and fielded panels. Interior. Moulded muntin and plank partitions to either side of front door, that to left cut through to form arch, that to right recently destroyed beyond modern inner door. Corbelled chimneypiece with moulded surround and cornice. Open well closed string stair of circa 1700 with heavy moulded hand rail.... -
