                                Description"The Snooty Fox Inn is late 17th or early 18th century. The ground floor has seen considerable alterations including the enclosing of the carriageway to the rear. Many 17th and 18th century internal features survive. Formerly the Green Dragon, one of the principal inns of the town, with an Assembly Room. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1145793 Kirkby Lonsdale is a small town that developed at a crossing of the River Lune.
