    "Metal plate attached to stone post by the A684, in parish of Garsdale (South Lakeland District), Hawes Road, East of Dandragarth; 10m West of East Little Town, near barn of East Little Town Farm, on South side of road. Sedburgh V iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SEDBERGH / 7 MILES : : SEDBERGH & HAWES / ROAD / GARSDALE : : HAWES / 9 MILES : Carved benchmark in benchmark database. Grade II listed.
