Fairfield Mill Arts and Heritage Centre, just east of Sedbergh

  • Description

"Former mill buildings restored and reused creatively. Seen here looking northwards from the small Garsdale bridge along the Clough River. This tributary merges with the much larger River Rawthey a couple of hundred metres from here. Neither river has much water flowing through after weeks of little rain. What a gloriously peaceful and evocative setting in the West Yorkshire Dales." Photo by Andrew Shannon, 2023.
