    ...Howgill War Memorial is prominently situated in a central position in the western end of the churchyard of the listed Grade II Church of the Holy Trinity and is over-looked by a listed Grade II K6 telephone kiosk. The memorial was unveiled in October 1920 to commemorate seven local servicemen who fell in the First World War. It was not altered to commemorate the Second World War....
