Durham Cathedral cloisters

  • Description

"The Cloister, on the south side of the Cathedral, was begun at the same time as the Cathedral but contains much work from the 15th century or later. The chapter house and cloisters of Durham Cathedral were used in scenes in the films of both Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This is the eastern side of the cloister." Photo by Paul Harrop, 2011.
