Former medieval kitchen to the south of the cathedral

  • Description

"Occupying most of the left of this photo is the former kitchen, now the muniment room, which dates from 1366-74. This was part of the Benedictine Abbey and is octagonal in shape. The building is grade I listed. The cathedral's central tower rises to the right." Photo by Gordon Hatton, 2024.
