    "Built as a public house, offices and warehouses; it was rebuilt in 1897. It's an elaborate composition in carved stone with two-storey bays (with stone roofs) stubby columns, and cherubs - see [[4474836]]. A central gable was removed in 1919 and replaced with the existing balustrade and dormers behind. The building is not listed. The Buildings of Grainger Town - No.119. See [[4406042]]."
